Hello Students,
My name is Chris Harris and I am your General English Teacher at Salisbury College Australia. I have worked in a few colleges before but I sincerely believe Salisbury College is the best one. The staff are all so friendly and the teachers are all very dedicated. As well as that, the facilities are great and most importantly it’s a really fun environment to work and study in. You’ve made the right choice!
I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney majoring in Economics and Geography and a CELTA Teaching certificate from In-search UTS.
I have been teaching English in Sydney since 2000, working at three colleges before I started here at Salisbury in January 2019. For most of those years I was also the Activities Coordinator for each college so I plan to continue organising some really fun activities for us here at the college.
Learning English is extremely important because it will open up your world and provide you with many more opportunities in life, both for meeting new people from all over the world and for your work career. It’s an investment in your future!
My personal motto is simple. Have fun learning English and don’t think too much!
