This course is specifically designed to train students in preparation for General and Academic IELTS examinations. In this course, students are provided with comprehensive explanation, interpretation, and practice of the exam by training, and attempting the each of the macro-skills in sample exam papers. The Academic IELTS can be used for undergraduate or postgraduate students or professional development.

This Course includes

Total duration: 36 weeks (Study Period 30 weeks and Holiday Breaks 6 weeks)
Course credits: Salisbury College Australia does not grant course credits for domestic or international students for any English courses.

Requirements

Salisbury College Australia has the following entry requirements:

To be accepted into the General or Academic IELTS courses, students need to have achieved any one of the bullet points below:

A minimum of Intermediate level from Salisbury College Australia’s General English course or from another approved ELICOS Provider or achieved an Intermediate level with SCA Placement Test.
Other forms of evidence equivalent to an intermediate proficiency level.

Program Duration

A full course will include Total Course Duration of 36 weeks, which includes:

Study Period: 30 Weeks
Holiday Breaks: 6 Weeks

Mode of Study and Attendance

Our classes are provided 20 hours a week as an online class. Students are expected to attend a minimum of 80% of all their classes. At the moment this program is offered Online.

Award

On successfully completing an ILETS course, at Salisbury College Australia, students will obtain a IELTS Exam Preparation Certificate of Attainment for their achievement for their course. This is awarded to the student who has attained 80% attendance for all their classes and has achieved satisfactory academic performance. A certificate is awarded to the student following the requirements below:

80% attendance
66% on exam marks on average for all the exams.

Class Sizes

Each class has a student capacity of 18 students. Smaller classes allow the teacher to focus individually on each student at a much deeper level, their individual learning needs.

Timetable Options

We offer one timetable: evening shift. General and Academic IELTS Classes will open based on the number of students.
