About Course

“The following information describes Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication for International Students that will or currently hold the Student Visa with the Department of Home Affairs”.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well developed marketing and communication skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts. This qualification applies to individuals in full-time marketing roles, as well as those who are responsible for an organisation’s marketing in addition to other duties.
Individuals in these roles apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.

International students enrolled in this qualification will study 52 weeks with holiday breaks. The study breakdown will be as follows. The breakdown will be as follows:

 

  • Total Course Duration: 52 weeks
  • Face to Face Tuition: 40 weeks
  • Holiday Breaks in Total: 12 weeks
  • Individual Study, Research, Learning and Assessment Activity Hours: 400 hours

The course duration above incorporates the estimated volume of learning for Certificate IV level as indicated by AQF 2nd edition January 2013 and under the new Standards for RTOs 2015.
