About Course

“The following information describes the Diploma of Marketing and Communication for International Students that will or currently hold the Student Visa with the Department of Home Affairs”.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use a sound theoretical knowledge base in marketing and communication and who demonstrate a range of skills to ensure that functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area. Typically, the individuals would have responsibility for the work of other staff and lead teams.
This qualification applies to individuals in full-time marketing roles, as well as those who are responsible for an organisation’s marketing in addition to other duties.

 

International students enrolled in this qualification will study 52 weeks with holiday breaks. The study breakdown will be as follows:

  • Face to Face Tuition Hours in Total: 840 hours/42 weeks
  • Individual Study, Research, Learning and Assessment Activity Hours: 420 hours
  • Holiday Breaks in Total: 10 weeks
  • Total Course Duration: 52 weeks (including holiday breaks)

In some instances, term breaks may be used to accommodate the compulsory Christmas breaks.
The course duration above incorporates the estimated volume of learning for Diploma level as indicated by AQF 2nd edition January 2013 and under the new Standards for RTOs 2015.

This Course includes
  • Total duration: 52 Weeks
  • Award: A successful completion of all twelve (12) units of competencies required will be awarded with an AQF certification. Partial completions will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed BSB42415 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communications.

Or

  • Successfully completed all the core units of Certificate IV in Marketing communications or equivalent units

Or

  • Have two years equivalent full-time relevant work experience.
